PERSONAL COMMENTS:
The segmental ureteral resection and subsequent re-anastomosis can be useful in case of severe ureteral stenosis, caused by endometriosis

ABSTRACT:
A 30-year-old woman was referred to our Operative Unit for a left renal hydronephrosis, caused by an obstruction and stenosis of the left ureter. We decided to perform a resection of the left ureter and periureteral tissues interested by the endometriosis and a termino-terminal anastomosis mucosa to mucosa with five stitches.
